Now tonight the B/f and I are going to Dracut for Dark Intentions Halloween party as Zombie Prom Dates! I’m highly looking forward to this costume collaboration! Mostly because I get to help my boyfriend look all corpsafied and gross this evening. HHHooottttt!

Pictures coming soon or get my damn facebook!

Oh I also found this adorable zombie cartoon!

I'm Hoping to leave work early, so HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!

You may be able to buy my crafty things soon! Yay!

So the boy friend and I have been working on the idea of making a website that deals with selling affordable boffer weapons and props/accessories for LARPs. Mark will be the weapon/shield master while I do props and accessories. This is what it looks like thus far.

http://www.wix.com/Nightfightstudios/Night+Fight+Studios

It’s still a working progress, and I’ll be adding more detail on my end + a “make your own choker” option since I have a lot of bulk lace & trim. Eventually I’ll get pics of the engineer arms I made for S&C and have that as a costume order option for buyers. I’m really excited about all this, and happy as a clam that Mark’s going threw all the trouble to build the site. (Since my HTML skills are poor.)

There are like nooooooooooooo LARPing prop and boff making sites out there. So I’m hoping this type of business could actually work, go somewhere, benefit everybody! Were also selling things at a pretty affordable rate in my opinion.

But anyway, I’m hoping you guys will check out the site and return with some constructive criticism. :)

With Vigil and then VNV nation show + after party... I wonder if my Boots will last the week! (I need new boots soon… the ones I have are dyeing.)

In other news: My left ankle isn’t doing so well, I really hope it has nothing to do with my boots. Because my left boot is the one that's really falling apart.

Good news: Got food!
Bad News: Had to use my credit card
Good news: Help cheer up a friend
Bad news: I’m dragging a little but today’s flying by
Good news: Boss is taking us out for lunch (probably b/c of a good review)

Mmmm…. Wild Willies!

Anybody know of any dollar stores or department stores where I can pick up some little rainbow flags? I’m going to dress up my jump pack and probably wear it at this years PRIDE parade on Saturday. (all depending on weather.)

Got a hold of some friends that are coming down for it but everything's still up in the air for what to do after the parade which start at noon. Edd mention trying to run over and get some Dimsum in Chinatown again and then going back too pick up any freebees by city hall.

I have no interest in hitting any of the block parties. It be nice to hit a gay club saturday night, but they always over charge cover charges on PRIDE weekend.

Who's else is at least coming out for the parade this year?

Even though today started off Blah-ish as I got into work late, (thanks to my tired body that chose not to wake up to my alarm clock)I just got a great idea for my next cosplay outfit.

Go-Go- Dancin Steampunk Robot! W00t!

So I probably won’t have this done in time for Xmortis’s “Robot” themed club night but I’m thinking of working on my next bizarre outfit that you’ll only see at clubs, conventions and maybe when I’m out and about at random Boston events. These days I’ve been wearing my jetpack, & space pirate girl outfit; this next outfit I want to start working on is going to be a more of a steampunk robot look. This outfit will feature things like a helmet, respirator, shiny leggings and who knows what else. Let’s just say I’m going to be ordering a lot of crap from these guys.

The only thing I’m unsure about is what to do for footwear for such an outfit. Oh and I may need to find an engineer to help me create a skin tight suite that just goes over my shoulders/half down my arms and my upper thighs. I need somebody to make me some small garment pieces that have LED string lights attached to them. Would love to get some suggestions of whom I should go to to get something like this made!

This is going to be a slow project as I don’t plan to have it done until the next Arisia.
I'm so excited to start working on this outfit!!!!!

Was a lot more fun then expected. I also had another epiphany after the festivities. I'll post more about the BBQ and so on later. Right now I need to email a friend about the belly dance class I go too and then head to my mom's. Thanks again Chris! And I hope Sarah feels better soon!

No real plans for tonight and tomorrow. As I’ve decided due to a lot of different factors, going to another larp this weekend, is just not going to happen. Anybody have any good ideas of what I should go do?

The car is already packed!
All I need to do is try to do a load of laundry and wash my dishes before driving off to CT.
I'm excited yet nervous at the same time about this event.
Wish, I could explain more of why I feel this way.
But I can't.
I'm also still unsure of what direction to take with this game!
Weather looks good too...well time to go!

Hope everybody has a good weekend!

Every time I go and visit my mother, some how I end up spending a little over $200 dollars. It’s not entirely all her, she just takes me to stores that I’m like OMG!WTF!? How long has this store been here? For example, she took me to a store she hadn’t had the chance to see yet, that’s not to far from where she lives now called “Traders of The Lost Arts.” If you’re into steampunk, country, gardening and vintage stuff, this store caterers to all those things. I found a cheap belly dance set there! They don’t have a website so I’ll just leave the info. So if you need some home/gardening decorating stuff and don’t feel like paying an arm and leg, this may be a nice little store to check out. They have gorgeous wine glasses!
Traders of the Lost Arts
696 River Street
Fitchburg, MA 01420

Hours:
Wed, Thurs and Fri, - 11:00 - 6:00
Sat – 10:00 – 5:00
Sun – 12:00 – 5:00
(parking is on the street)

I left there with a lot of things; I got something that screamed Natalie and Thomas! So I had to get that for them. I also got a beautiful ornate magnifying glass which came with a velvet pouch, may give that as a prop for extra points for S&C? I also paid for something my mother wanted; she’s into the pretty glass balls you hang by your window. I also saw something in there I may get my dad for fathers day, though I’m wondering if just giving him cold cash would be more useful.

I was going to make a longer ass post, but all just say that I got everything I’ll probably need for the next three weekends! (Camping, Larping, belly dancing and hiking gear.) I’ve got lot’s to do so the only club night I’m hitting this month is Vigil. So much garb to make/finish. Crap.
